I've got to deliver this tomorrow for a local Chief that is retiring after 24 years in the Navy. It is made from walnut and ash. The pillars that the statues are sitting on are 4 1/2" w X 2 1/2" d X 6" tall, one solid piece. I had originally planned on them being just a hollow platform but decided that it wouldn't look right. Everything is loose fitting as to allow for movement. Overall it is 29" wide by 31 1/4" tall, it weights about 35lbs. I put three keyhole slots in the back for hanging or using the center slot to keep it stable if placed on his mantle.

Thanks guys. We do alot of these locally and worldwide. Being a retired navy guy I understand what a nice display means to a Vet. The key is to not overdo the box and place the focus on the contents. That gives the retiree a place that reminds him of things done, seen and sacrifices made.
