I just completed this small chest a few days ago. The carcass and drawers are a combination of curly maple and jatoba while the table is movado. All the dovetail work was done on a Jointech system. Handles are suspended with brass rod.

Thanks for looking.

Great work Glen. I am especially fond of the manner in which you utilized the jatoba. Almost inspiring enough to make me go to the shop instead of reading the forums!

Beautiful Glen........you excel at these small boxes/ chests / etc!!

How tall are the drawers... 1/2 inch stripes of maple with 1.5" of jatoba inbetween??

Sharp work as always!

Very nice work Glen. I'm in the same boat as Everett, I didn't notice the glasses at first and it looked so much larger. :)

Glen

One of a kind work!!! I would love to get to your level of craftsmanship someday.

A piece like that is built with more than just tools...

amazing! those dovetails must be only slightly bigger than the eyeglass screws. did you cut them with a razorblade?
