Just plane help!

I picked up a Baley #5 at an antique shop last week. When I got it home, I found out the the screw to adjust the depth of the cut is stripped! Can this be fixed?

For me I'd just back it out(the threads are opposite from regular threads) and start looking for another one. Contact Walt at brass city records. He always has stuff like that lying around.

I meant to ask...What type is it? I have a type 17 frog I'd be willing to "let go" if it would match.

Well, you got me on what type it is, but I took that booger apart today and found it wasn't stripped after all. Appreciate the offer though. I only paid $16 for it so I wasn't all that worried about it.
