Captive Rings

Can any one tell me how to do captive rings?May be where to look for info. and tools?

This is for Nancy L. also, as I told her I would get this for her, but left town for a few days. :)

Captive rings can be made with a number of different tools. You can buy a ready made tool just for this, but it is easy and way, way cheaper to make your own. I used a screwwdriver with the tip bent about 45 degress and then filed into the shape of a parting tool. Others might use dental tools, allen wrenches, or whatever to do the same thing with.
