Hi Kurt. Now thats a Gloat!!! Looking at the picture I now understand how the hollowing rig works now. Make sure you write your family once in a while.:D I'm sure they'll miss you.

CONGRATS!!!

Looking at the pic, I am just a bit confused on some components and how it works. Looks like there is a provision for captive system (front tool rest) but the bar is not. Will the bar be moveable towards or away the headstock? If yes, what is the use of the holder by the rear tool rest?

Congratulations Kurt,

Who made it? I have yet to put together my McNaughton system (bought it about 16 months ago when I was quite sick) but this one looks different. Is it a toy I don't have???

Lots of luck and fun with it. Hilel.

Thanks guys! Dario, The holder isn't a holder. It has a roller bearing for forward and aft movement. Very smooth. This is the Clark system and can be seen here.

I'll give you guys a review after the weekend. Looking good so far though!

Kurt,
I'm still waiting on mine. Keith was trying to get a "z" mode worked in besides having the "x-y" mode. I told him to work on it a few more weeks if needed as I wasn't in dire need of it just yet. I like the looks of your setup and do post pics as you put it through the test.
