Is there a technique or a product that will enable raster engraving on dark leather?
Thanks

I did same dark leather and took it to the leather store and had them tell me what to do with it to make it standout more. It was a deep, rich brown, almost mahogany color leather.

They did a sample for me, and it was I wanted, just trying to make it a little darker. It's called "Hi-Liter" by Tandy leather.

Not sure it'd work too well on something as dark as black, but it brought out the image I did on the dark brown leather.

It will darken everything a little more, but not much.

That's all the input I have. Not sure if it helps any.

Leather is really a crap shoot! You really never know what you are going to get.. I usually tell my customers I can laser the job, but there is never any idea of what colour the etch is going to be..Probably depends on what the cow ate for breakfast  Black leather is usually dyed black anyway, and when lasered will be anything from dark brown, to white! I've had them all.. Don't go by what colour the leather looks, chances are it'll be quite different when etched..
