I have long admired the hanging tool cabinet from the 2001 Tools & Shops issue from FW. So I set out to finally construct my version. I scaled it down a lot and it is still huge. I couldn't make it any taller as I am 5' 5".

The drawer fronts are each made up of differnet species. From left to right top to bottom: Lacewood, Bubinga, Maple, Oak, Redwood, Cherry, Bamboo & Purpleheart.

I still have a lot of work to do mounting the tools. But is very nice for all the little things to have a home!

Nice work on the cabinet Calvin. I like the drawers as well. You have the right idea, in that you are getting organized, and this cabinet will provide a place for the tools/supplies that you use the most. You will definintely enjoy shop time much more when you don't have to look for whatever it is that you need. I am in the process of moving things around in my small shop, so I can, hopefully, be more efficient. Great Job. Bill
