Stanley Mitre Box #244

I should have asked this question before I bought it , but anyway, I just recently bought a used miter box -STANLEY MITRE BOX #244 . I needed one to use for small miter jobs around my house and my kids houses. I thought I would rather spend money on a Good quality "old style" that to buy a new one with plastic parts. It came with an Atkins miter saw. I paid about $60. First, is it a decent miter box and saw and 2nd, did I get riopped off on price?

Jim, Depending on the wear factor, they can run anywhere from $40.00-$75.00 and then if you find them at online auction you will have to pay shipping another $30.00-$50.00, so good buy...
