There must be some kind of price war going on because I just noticed that the Grizzly GO586 8" jointer also is on sale for $595. The Delta with shipping is only $100 more so the question is which one would you purchase? The Grizzly got high marks in the latest FWW review, Delta has the name. Any difference in overall quality?

I believe the G0609 and Shopfox W1744 are just as good as the Delta DJ-30 but I like the sticker that says DJ-30. :)
