Does anyone own the Grizzly G1023SLW table saw with the router table extension wing?

I'm getting ready to purchase this saw and was looking to buy the Bench Dog ProFence as my router table fence. I was wondering if you could provide me with some answers about the thickness of the router table top. The manual for the Bench Dog fence says that it will fit tables up to 1.5 inches thick. Will this fit on the Grizzly router table extension or is the extension thicker than 1.5 inches?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Todd

Looks to me like your TS fence rails will be in the way for the clamping method used by Bench Dog regardless of table thickness(?). A shopbuilt attachment to your TS fence could work. I've seen some pretty well thought out versions.

Here is a picture of my setup. The router wing is 2 inches thick. The rails are about 1 7/8 from the table top to the bottom. My bolts are about at their limit. This is really not an issue as the bolts are off the shelf components. Just go out and get four longer bolts! The top could be a thick as you want.

The limiting factor on mounting this fence is the max lenght of the fence. It is about 32 1/2 inches or thereabouts. This really isnt an issue with "most" table saws.

BTW I am VERY happy with the fence.

Well.... I have already posted the pics once and I'm not allowed to do a duplicate so..... I will post link to them:
