carnabau wax

I have some carnabau wax in powder form and would like to turn it into
paste form. Anyone done this or can it be done?

Naptha will work. Mineral spirits will also work if you need something that dries slower. Johnson's paste wax uses one or both of those ingredients -- their MSDS lists the solvent as CAS 64742-88-7. Purdue University maintains a MSDS repository on its website at http://www2.itap.purdue.edu/MSDS/
