Does anyone own one of these? I am thinking about purchasing one and I would like to get some feedback before. I already have a new T2 fence, so I know the saw doesn't come with a fence. I also get 10% off at Lowes so it would around $400 and then I should get $300 for my old one.

Thanks

I had it's predecessor in my shop last winter...it was 36-680, and I thought it was a nice tool. The 36-979 is left tilt and comes with a built in mobile base. I've read positive comments from several happy owners. The fact that you already have a fence makes it a feasible and attractive option IMO.

I have the predecessor to Scott's saw, the 36-675. Great saw. I don't think you'll be disappointed, but I don't know what your old saw was.

If you already have a T2 fence, I'd think you must have a Delta Contractor saw of recent vintage. What's your reason for switching?

I found a T2 fence in the classifieds and bought it just in case. I have an older delta contractors II saw 36-630. I hopefully could sell mine for about $250 and only have $150 in the new one. I also would perfer a left tilt.

Thanks for your help.
