Evening All
Well I was off work last week and got a good start on my Daughter's bedroom set.
Here's a front view, The front is quarter sawn red oak.
<img src ="http://www.woodshopphotos.com/albums/Mike-Harriss-Woodworking-Stuff/DSCF0048.jpg">
Leg detail, shows the rays of the 8/4 quarter sawn red oak. Man, it wasn't easy to find and expensive.
<img src ="http://www.woodshopphotos.com/albums/Mike-Harriss-Woodworking-Stuff/DSCF0052.jpg">
All the dust frames and drawer dividers are assembled using sliding dovetails. Another learning experience.
<img src ="http://www.woodshopphotos.com/albums/Mike-Harriss-Woodworking-Stuff/DSCF0054.jpg">
Side view with a raised panel.
<img src ="http://www.woodshopphotos.com/albums/Mike-Harriss-Woodworking-Stuff/DSCF0049.jpg">
Rear view using frame and panel construction.
<img src ="http://www.woodshopphotos.com/albums/Mike-Harriss-Woodworking-Stuff/DSCF0057.jpg">
Finished and attached the top today and started the 3-wing mirror. Next will be the hand cut dovetails drawers.
I was planning on using walnut for the drawer fronts and aromic cedar for the drawer bottoms.
Thanks for looking
Mike
