Sometimes I take all the information that I have received here on the Creek for granted. So I want to thank a couple of guys for inspiring me to set up a Board Buddy system on my Table saw. I want to thank Mark Singer for his post on the board buddy and for his link to Roy Wall's excellent review and pictorial.
I received the board buddy and used Roy's pictures for building my version of the system. ( which is almost the same).
My first project was building a sharpening station for my new Tormek, and the first test for the BB's was ripping and dado'ing sheet goods. Your right Mark, the plywood snugged up to the fence and the depth of the dado stayed consistent thru the whole cut.
Also, with them mounted on the mini-track, it is so easy to take them off and on. I really feel safer and think the quality of my work took a notch forward.
