Another Christmas present Complete.
Here is a Cigar Pen and Pencil Set that I made for my Brother.
It is made out of Bocote.

Julie, I cannot get the link to bring up the photo's of your Pen and Pencil Set? Maybe something on my ISP end, but I really look forward to seeing them. Bocote makes the nicest pens and pencils, doesn't it? It and Cocobola are among my favorites for Pens. If you could, try posting the pictures here, I would really like to see them. :)

Julie, ditto to what Kevin said. I think it may be the link address itself. My BIL sends me links to his stuff on Yahoo from time to time and, unless he gets it just right, no go. Maybe you could indeed post them here for us to see....? :cool:

NOW you're talkin'! The pics are fine. Oh yeah...so is the Pen/Pencil set! Beautiful wood and it appears that you really nailed them as a perfect match in form! Nice job and I'll bet your brother will be both, impressed and grateful! :cool:

I really like the choice of wood and the kit type. Those look great. It'll sure make your brothr happy. Keep up the excellent work and posting picts. I enjoy seeing others doing such fine projects.

They look fantastic. It will make a great present! I had one blank from Bocote that Ken had given me when I won the pens, unfortunately I goobered it when I cut it, and lost the blank...oh well Jim was kind enough to give me some when I visited him, so I will try again. Hope to do it the same justice you did.

Beautiful pens, Julie. Bocote really works well for pens...distinctive grain and it finishes up nicely.

I really like bocote for pens also. Did you notice the pepper smell while you were working with the blanks.
