Big Boxes

Just got the lathe set back up today and thought I would give my new scroll chuck a try. made a few boxes Cherry one is 2 1/2 inches high by 1 1/2 inches wide, OO and Cherry boxes is 2 inches high and 1 1/2 inches wide. these are the first two boxes I tried

Congrats on the new lathe and getting her going.
The cherry boxes definetely look better than my first ones.

Old lathe, new chuck still using my grandfathe hand-me down CM (from the mid 50's I think). I wish the pictures turn out better might have to work on a light box for pictures.
