I ordered an inflatable bowl sander and in the picture it was shown with an extension but when it arived it doesn't come with one. I called wood crafters and they said they don't sell one. So now I've got the sanders with no way to use them. Anyone know where to get an extension?

Bill, what size is the shank? If it is 1/4" you can go to Lowe's or HD and get one. Harbor Freight and Northern Tools also sell them. If it is larger then 1/4" you might try Packards or Craft Supplies.

Good luck.

1/4 inch. Thanks very much. I have a lowes and a hd on the way home. Do you know where I'd find it in the store?

Bill,
I'd assume that they'd be in the tools dept near the drill bits.

Assuming you mean flex shaft? Don't settle for the bushed type you get at a home center. Bearings heat if not lubed, collect crud when lubed. Get something with ball bearings like the one here http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.aspx?c=2&p=31030&cat=1,130,43409 for best life.
