I'm contacting mfg's of cyclone DC systems to see how much cheaper I could get one without the filters since I'm lucky enough to live where I can vent outside. So far I've contacted Oneida on their 3hp Super Gorilla, and Grizzly on their 3hp GO441 and 5hp GO442.
My response from Oneida was that since the unit was currently on sale for $130 off, they could only take off an additional $100 sans filter.
Grizzly OTOH, said they would not discount nor sell their units without the filter.
Just an FYI for those thinking about venting outside.
