Thought I'd add something different. I turned this 4 poster bed from red oak. Each leg was turned in 3 sections, the base, the middle and the finial, with a dowel to connect them. I did not use a duplicator so there are some verl slight differences, but you don't see them unless they are side by side. Can't remember the stain I used. Thanks for looking.

Keith they turned out beautiful. I remember I think it was Dave Hout said unless you either stand or lay them side by side 99.9% of the people won't see the difference unless you point it out. Keith the is a mighty fine job.

Hi Keith

Very nice spindle turning and furniture building there. I wouldn't have ever guess that to be oak!

Great looking bed. You sure can't walk into a furniture store and find anything close to that quality. I guess you built the nightstand too.

Thanks guys for the kind words. Yes Curt I built the nightstands too. Actually I have built more furniture than I care to remember but none of it compares to the fun of turning !

Hey Keith, "Turning Furniture" would make a great video title. When's it coming out?
