View Full Version : Plywood Panel Carrier Handle - Help Me Find It

I recently saw a handle device designed to carry a panel of plywood (or I suppose drywall). It is NOT the one that attaches itself to the bottom of the panel, but instead it slips over the TOP edge of the panel and as you lift it up it clamps onto the panel. The heavier the panel, the greater the clamping pressure. Then you can heft the panel off the ground and move it around the shop. I can't remember where I saw it advertised and I am not seeing it when I google for panel carrier handles. Anyone recall seeing it advertised? Thanks.

Thanks Jim! I found and ordered it from their website:

http://www.gorillagripper.com/

I'm hoping that device will save me from some trips to the chiropractor. It should also help to pull and slide panels out of my plywood rack I am building. Their website has a very well done video clip showing how it works.

I have one, and I can say that it works very well

Jeff, my apologies. I just realized I had not included the link in my attempt at humor mentioning the finders fee. I was trying to make a joke as I had dug up the link for you :

http://www.mcfeelys.com/product/GGR-0001/Gorilla-Gripper

By neglecting to include it in the post I think it may have come off that I was asking for the fee before going through the effort. I hope this did not cause offense. Had the link been there as planned I guess it would've been funny(?).

Glenn ;-)

No offense taken. I sensed your humor. Besides, at my age (nearly 60), having been in the Marine Corps, having six kids, having gone through a divorce, four grand kids, and lived through 8 hurricanes in two years here in Florida . . . I've developed a pretty thick skin. :D
