From another post, someone said that this Craftsman 17543 router (http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=SEARS&pid=00917543000) is a very good router. But, with shipping and tax, the price is very close to the Hitachi via Amazon (and I have a $25 coupon from Amazon I could use). But, the Hitachi doesn't come with a edge guide, so I would likely need to pick one up, which would add to the cost.
Here is the link (http://http//www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=52064) to my other post that mentions the 17543
So help! I'm on a budget, but I want to get a great tool. If I decide to get the Hitachi from Amazon... then the Bosch and Dewalt is only a little bit more, and already comes with an edge guide.
So, the final cost for me on these items would be:
Craftsman - $130 (w/ edge guide)
Hitachi - $115 (w/o edge guide)
Bosch - $180 (w/ edge guide)
Dewalt - $185 (w/o edge guide)
