Hi Guys,
I've been away from the creek since Thanksgiving and just checked all the messages since then and didn't see anyone else find on of these.
I went to HD last Friday to get some SYP and at the entrance there was a display for an 18V Dewalt Drill/5 3/8" Saw Combo 1 day only sale $199.
It came with 2 18v XR battery packs and a 7.2 to 18 v 1 hr charger and a nice 18 V drill with 400 in pounds of torque. Since the saw was what I really wanted to cut sheet goods in the shop and pressure treated outside, I took about 2 minutes to think this way. H'mm saw is normally around $250, batteries go for about $85 each, the 18V drill will drive the long deck screws and I have the money in my pocket. Sold
I have never used a cordless saw before and now all I can say is WOW! No cord, cuts better than my Circular saw, very ligh and easy to maneuver. I like it!
