Brian gave you a good recomendation. Also consider the Lenox bi-metal blades, and the Woodslicer from Highland woodworking.

I use the Tri-Master carbide for resaw work and most often have a 1/2" Timberwolf on the saw for utility use...an AS if I'm working wet wood and a PC for dry wood, although they sometimes switch hit so I don't have to change them.

Are you resawing or cutting curves? For resawing I use my lennox and my woodslicer. Both are good in different ways.

For curves, I use the blades that came with it. They haven't dulled much yet, as most of my bandsaw work has been resawing. Of course, I'm one blade short, as the first thing I did when I got the saw was over-tension a 1/4" blade - snap! ping! no more blade.

I just got a 1 1/4" resaw king (on sale for $60 off list) and was very pleased with some 1/16 cherry veneer that I cut. saw marks are barely visible.

Same as Jim here - Tri-Master for resaw & 1/2" Timberwolf for "general use".
