I was wondering if there is any creekers that are making chisels that they are selling?

Just looking for my "chisel guy/chisel gal"

Try your hand at making your own! Not too hard to do--I've done a few using 1/8" A2. Made a couple of small dovetail style and a 3/4" wide skew. As I routinely buy tool steel for my business, I already had a source. However you can buy A2 and O1 from MSC. Shape with a file, grinder or what have you and heat treat with a torch. Shape a handle with your spokeshave and your good to go! Not hard at all and actually fun!

I do not sell nor have any inclination to make any for sale, primarily because of my limited time to apply to hobbies.

Hi Dan,

I can vouche for Dave's fine work, I own a dove tail chisel he makes with a few more on order, the one I have is excellent. I know Dave is renowned for his marking tools as well. So many tools, such little time!:)

Another vote for Dave's chisels. IMO, best of the bunch in western chisels these days.

Yes, Occasional poster. Not because I don't want to spend more time here. I just need more time!
