Any one know what this is?
I have hydrostatic drives on my scagg mower. I have a variable diameter pully drive on my Ransome's mower and years ago I had a Toro with a dreadful variable speed drive that was little more than a pair of friction disks rubbing together you go faster when the driven disk is further out on the drive disk. That drive system was hideous and unreliable.
I have no idea what the Ariens drive is but it sounds suspiciouly like that Toro drive I hated.
Any one know ?
