Anyone have the Ellsworth Grinding Jig?

I do, but I've misplaced my instructions:confused: .

Can someone tell me the distance that the gouge is supposed to protrude from the jig? I don't know if its the same distance that is used by the Vari-grind jig.

It is supposed to stick out 2 inches.

1 3/4" is what I use. The directions call for 2" you may find that dimension a little agressive. Either will work depending on your preferred method of turning.
