Received my new Oneway Talon chuck yesterday from Penn State. Rushed home with it and installed the adapter bushing for my Ridgid lathe and it was to big. :(
I ordered the 3/4 x 16tpi and that's what it said on the box, but it was the 1 x 8tpi. Called them and they are shipping me the correct one ( I hope they check in the box this time and do not go by the label).
I wonder if I could find a reducer bushing local so I could use it until the correct one arrives? I found out this morning that a pipe "NPT" fitting won't work.
Man! that is disappointing. I had a bowl partially turned and waiting on it.
