Pics are self explanatory. No measuring or marking out to worry about, and a very solid wee stool. (Kindly donated by herr Doktor Festool via Anthony ant Ideal Tools;) )

This is a great excercise as trad. joinery would require a heap of work for the joints, and biscuits wouldn't be much good to you. The timber was supplied as you see it, but a 'normal' set of power tools would nock up the pieces in about an hour I suppose - so that's 2 hrs all up, plus finishing.
I'll whack a bit of wax on top of the china oil tonight and take a final pic. I like the visible end grain and ply.

Do I or do I not spy a bottle of Cascade Ale on the workbench? Such a clean work area! Great job with the small stool. Hope we can see the final product.:D

Very Nice Stool. I might have to make one using my Kreg Jig:D (I won't have to use that many clamps either). Just kidding:) . Congrats on the Domino. Regards, Bill

That doesn't look very strong, will probably only hold about 800 lbs, lol! Nice stool Dennis!

Dennis,
What is the stool's top made of? If solid wood, could there be a cross-grain problem?

Its in the pic. Laminated ply, looks like maybe 1" thick.

It is a nice little stool and does demonstrate the Domino well but, looking at it again it seems as if a Kreg jig could indeed produce the same results with approximately 24 holes.
