Hi I sent one of my systimatic combination blades to resharpening to Forrest and I have to say that I'm very unhappy with the results, I just got the blade back and it did some cuts and now it leaves lots of marks on the wood, then I tried with a new Freud combination blade and no marks at all just like the systimatic before sharpening, has somebody else experience the same? it cost me 40dlls with the shipping I wouldn't mind so much if the blade performed like new. I never had a blade sharpened before but so I don't know if that is normal. I took a picture but is not too good the board on top was cut with the resharpened blade the bottom board was cut with the new Freud, thanks for reading this.

You should call Forrest - that top pic looks terrible. I had blades sharpened at a local hardware store and never had a cut look like yours (even before I took it in).

Ridge Carbide does a good job. Not quite as much as Forrest in price, but I think better in quality.
