I think I have been working on this chair for over a year:( . The first 2 pics were what it looked like when I first got it

I can only see the first two "before" pics, the "after" pics are just blue question marks (I think that's a Mac thing).

Lori.

I can see all of them.I'm on a Mac also, so it should be available to Dan.

You have a much better eye than I do to see something worth salvaging based on the first two pics. The end result is great.

How much more than just stripping and refinishing did you have to do? It looks as if you had to effect a repair, because I don't see the string in the final shot.:D, ;)

You are right, I had to scrape the dowel inserts that were used to hold the chair together. Then I reglued them with epoxy. I also had to re-nail the seat supports. If I had my choice I would not have bothered with this project, but you know how family obligations are:rolleyes: . But you'll never catch me sitting on that chair.:D

Nice job Lori. That's quite an interesting little chair. It looks as though the front legs actually lean inwards. Is that just a camera induced illusion? It gives it a very prim-and-proper look.

Great job Lori...
That looked like a lot of work but the results are worth it...
