Help With Sketchup Installation Problem?

Downloaded Sketchup, but when I tried to launch it I got a window entitled "Bug Splat"! Thought it might be a phishing problem, so went to the Google Sketchup web site. They mentioned it, so it seems legit, but they don't seem to want to make themselves available to discuss the problem.

Can any of you help?

Bug Splat is SketchUp's way of sending bug reports back so they can be log and tracked with the intent of fixing them. It isn't phishing.
