I'm trying to find some large sheets of 1" square graph paper. As far as width, it just needs to be around 4-5", but length I'd like 25-30". I know I can always tape some shorter peices together, and if that's what I have to do then fine. But I still can't find 1" graph paper in my area. Help!

if you know anyone w/ access to a plotter they could print you some off, if you were closer i could get you some from school, how quick do you need it?

Check your local high school. They usually have pads (24" * 36") of the stuff. Sure you could get a couple of sheets. Short of that, a blueprint shop could print you off a few sheets in a couple of minutes.

The backing to Con-Tact (http://housewares.hardwarestore.com/37-188-contact-papers/white-contact-paper-101546.aspx) shelf paper has 1/2" grid on the back if you can work around the wording. A 9' x 18" roll is less than $5
