I'm having a problem with my euro style drawer slides (Blum?) where the little screws they supplied keep working loose. I have two instances where it's happening; both in Melamine (built-in closet) and plywood (old kitchen cabinets. how do I keep those things from working loose?

I would put a drop of glue on them when you replace them. Is it possible that the screws were over tightened and became stripped. I always hand tighten screws that go in MDF or melamine or particle board.

They were hand screwed to begin with, but that's not to say they don't strip out easily. Just a drop of yellow glue, huh?

John, when I install hardware in melamine or MDF I drill 1/4 or 5/16 holes and install dowell plugs where the screws enter the material. I make my own dowell plugs on the drill press rather then use dowel rods so I am not screwing into end grain. I have not had a screw failure yet.
Hope this helps.
