HF Metal Detector Wand

I have recieved a coupon for the CEN-TECH metal detector wand, and can get it for 24.99...hahaha Does anyone out there have one of these that could tell me if it is worth it or not even to bother...

I have one and it works great with one limitation, it only scans about 1" deep. For me, that isn't a problem at all but for some it could be.
