Anybody have any advice on a Delta 37-190 jointer. Supposedly in great condition for $200. I'm going to check it out this week. I'm a hobbiest trying to start my shop. I need a jointer and a planer and If I get a good deal on these tools I might have enough left to upgrade my saw to a Ridged 3650 (?). Thanks for the help!

That's a step up from my Delta 6" baby jointer which has a stamped steel body. Heavy gauge but there's nothing like cast iron. I paid almost $200 for mine but, being only a 6" I found it's limitations quickly. The one pictured is much more heavy duty and for $200 would probably serve you well for a longer time than mine has. 8" jointer, here I come.
