Put their products on sale? I am looking for a good drill press that will not break the bank--remember what constitutes breaking the bank for one may not be breaking the bank of another... :)

Grizzly has a summer sale and winter sale every year. They also have tent sales at their locations where they sell off scratch & dent. From what I've seen in the last couple years, the summer/winter sales are not as significant as they used to be. The tent sales are crazy, but some people come away with great deals.
For an inexpensive drill press, you may want to look for sales at HD and Sears.

I just returned from Blue box, Orange box, and craftsman box and it looks like the deal offered to me by our local Woodcraft will actually beat them all.

I've not heard much about their drill presses, but their bandsaws and their mini lathes get very high marks. It appears that they make pretty good tools.

They also do coupon promos in some of the WW mags, but I think that may be for the bigger-ticket items.

That looks like a pretty good buy. My new Delta was $161 on sale and it is only a five speed. I didn't even know that Ricon made a benchtop drill press. It isn't listed on the WoodCraft site. I'd say go for it if it has the features you want.
