Craftsman router

It's brand new out with no track record, Brian. It might be fine, but I'd be cautious....Sears stuff is all over the map from great to aweful depending on who makes it and who it's made for. About the only Sears router I'd be comfortable with right now is the Bosch made Craftsman 1617.

If you're looking for a bargain plunge/fixed kit, the Hitachi goes on sale near $130 pretty regularly. check Ebay.
