Here's a 12 1/2" x 2" bowl made from cherry and finished with Antique Oil Finish and buffed. Thanks for looking.

Ed super nice bowl. Love the size and shape. Your finish is very nice. That is one of the oils I haven't tried.

Nice piece of wood, and well turned. The eastern soil or variety of cherry must be a lot different from our local stuff. Color develops fast in our local brand. Have you tried your brand of wood with a coat of hot linseed under the antique oil for color development? Assuming, of course, that you want to get it quicker.

Very nice!. I seldom get them that flat and smooth on the inside!. Really like the cherry, and I like to work with it.

That's a very pretty bowl Ed. Is that the cherry that grows wild or is it the cherry that grows in the cherry orchard type cherry?
