Hi, I've just switched computers, and had to reinstall all my software.
When the switch was complete I tried to test our engraver.

It seems to be leaving a pattern of dots inside the lines to be engraved.
Here is a pic since I'm not sure I am explaining this clearly.

Sorry its so large.
I am using a laserpro venus and coral draw 7. I'm sure its just a setting but I've tried everything I can think of.

Thanks.

Looks like your image was a dark grey instead of black, then your laser dithered for you.

Try changing the color within corel to black.

You might also get that with a really low DPI setting?

1. Have you loaded the LaserPro color palette into Corel?

2. Have you remembered to turn off CorelDraw Color Management (Tools ->color management ->color management off)? You probably have to do this if you re-install CorelDraw.

Shaddy You can check/change your dithering settings in the "Raster" section of the print driver. I usually use "error diffusion" for a smoother look in my greyscale.

Coreldraw 7 ??? I would start with an upgrade before anything else! Compaired to 12 or x3, 7 would be barely functional..
