Has anyone ever made their own bean mill with the hand crank burr gear? I cannot locate the grinding mechanism anywhere for sale. Any thoughts or will I have to cannibalize a complete one for the parts I need. Thanks in advance:D

Last year I was on a very tight budget and needed pepper grinder parts. Didn't have the money for new guts so I bought a good quality one at a second hand store for $.50 tore it appart and used it. It was for my own house so I didn't care if it was used. Still running fine.
