Almost Complete Desk

I had to mock up one desk this morning to get a final dimension for the granite tops, so I thought I would post a few pictures. This is one of 3, all 3 are complete except the drawers. Drawers will be solid maple , all the panels are Alder and the boxes are Maple ply. It took one week to build all three and three days for the finish.

There is 18 drawers to build, the bottom ones will be file drawers

There are 3 matching wall units that go behind the desks 8' tall and 12' wide, that I will start next week, guess I should start building some drawers now, thanks for looking

Some lawyers are going to look mighty fine behind those desks. Do people like granite for a desktop? I would think it would be cold and too hard.
