View Full Version : Power outage? No, battery outage.

We have a programmable Honeywell thermostat. Its nice, warm up a few hours before you get up, drop the temp when you're at work or sleeping.

Until the battery in the little booger goes out, when its 8 degrees outside. You wake up. You've been fighting the cold your family has. You think, dang, I've got a fever or something. Nope. Its 56 in the house. Doh!

Gary, we have one of those too. Love it. Thanks to you, ours will have a new battery tonight!!

Gary, same thing happened to me several years ago. Now I change the thermostst batteries twice a year when I do the smoke detectors. Have not had a failure since.
