OT: Tempting fate

At about 7AM this morning I look up from my coffee and find that a few turkeys have decided that it would be a nice time to emerge from the woods and take a stroll on my lawn. The temptation to have fresh Thanksgiving dinner was quite strong ... but the shotgun stayed in the closet and I used the camera instead :)

There is an article on MSNBC today about turkeys in Manhattan. It's nice that the populations have come back as they are nice birds and do eat a lot of insects around our properties.
