James that is a very nice shop, and very clean I might add. Did you build or buy your bench? And how about a few pictures of what ever that door panel is going to be mounted to............:D

James.

James, looks to me like you have a very nice shop setup there. And some nice equipment to boot! Does the clamp rack wall move or slide? Looks to be some storage behind it. And I'm guessing you move the TS out when you have longer pieces to cut since it's on a mobile base. Very nice! Thanks for the tour. Jim.

James -

It may be small, but it looks fantastic. Nice use of space and some very nice equipment.

All the best,

Mike

I was hoping for them to make a 3rd? :o No, I originally only wanted to select the one I liked best, but they're both good at different tasks and don't use up any more space.

Thanks. I built the bench (I only wish I had more room to take advantage of all of it). The door panel is from a display cabinet I'm working on (will post when it actually looks like one).

Hah, the storage is a wide as you see, but it's about 20' deep. Every year it gets harder for me to slide back there. I may end up having to sell the wood to some skinny guy who can get back there. I think I've got some mahogany, rosewood, padauk, baltic birch...

James,

That is one fine shop.
Nice complement of tools, and in particular I really like your jointer, drill press table, and that band saw!

Thanks for posting the pics!

How do you cut anything long with the TS like that. Gotta move the mats if you wanna move the saw.

Do you actually do any work in there..........it's way to clean!:p

Don't be so modist. I'd love to have a shop just like it. Wow. You have a super set-up. Your pictures gave me some super ideas and tell me that I'm on the right track on some of the things I've done and am planning. Thanks for sharing.

Hey James, great looking shop. The only thing missing is a good DeWalt circular saw, oh wait, you sold that baby to me! Thanks for sharing your shop with us.

Best regards, Tom, in Houston, helping your old saw adjust to Texas.

I can cut around 75" without moving the saw, but the mats come up really easy if I need to pull it out. I tend to rough cut to length first and then process though the shop in order to have enough room. I also have a friend that has a lot more room for the bigger pieces.

Since my furnace is in my shop, I try to keep it fairly clean so as to not spread junk around the house when I can. As we all know, its a never-ending battle.

Great use of space. How do you like the Jessem sliding table attachment? BTW, it's one of the cleanest shops that I have seen -- what DC system are you using? Thanks for sharing!
