festool vac enhancements

i'm in the process of painting my living room and refinishing the stairs, so i'm using my new 150/3 festool sander(gloat).the thing i didn't like was the power cord was getting tangeled with the hose.a trip to hd solved that.i bought some velcro ties and wrapped them around the hose and cord about every 16 in, no more tangles.i also had some 1-1/4" vac attachments from an old shop vac.picked up a fernco adapter and that too works like a charm.love the festool tools but the extras are priced kinda high imho.

Great idea. I'm glad you did the velcro, however, as some tools, such as the OF1400 use a different power cord than the sanders and other small amperage tools.
