Some of you may remember the peppermill as being the first one I did. Well, I finally got around to making a semi-matching salt shaker. The salt shaker is one piece I just added a burn line trying to mimic the pepper mill.
The confetti light is paper birch that was cut from my parents front yard.
One warning, a 1/16" drill bit breaks easily when drilling corian ;)
The salt shaker and confetti light have yet to be buffed so they are looking a bit dull.

Excellent pieces Kevin. Great job of matching them and a great idea with the different corian insets to tell them apart.

Everything looks really nice Kevin! Have to agree with Keith in that you did a real good job of matching the set of shakers. Your Step-Mom should love everything! Good work!

Kevin
What a great idea to use the Corian the way you did in the shakers. I bought a sample box of a Corian like product, maybe 50, 2" squares of different colors, at an auction for $1. This might be a good use of a few of those chunks.

Thanks for showing us these. I'm sure your step mom will proudly display and use them.

Nice job matching the size and shape of the salt shaker to the pepper grinder. Seems like all my pieces end up being 'one of a kind'.

Thanks everyone.
Frank, I had planned the inserts which kind of dictated the use of the crushgrind mechanism for the peppermil. I suppose you could use the normal mills but it may be a little busy up there then.
Doug, I know what you mean. I think this is the closest I have came to matching two things. Other than pens, but that really doesn't count.
