I set out to build a 24" long fence for the stock miter gauge that came with a Delta Unisaw using dimensions shown in J Tolpin's "Table Saw Magic" book. His fence is 1 7/16" wide and is capped with an aluminum piece that has t-track. It also has "minitrack" on the back so that the fence position can move in relation to the miter gauge handle. I want to add an extension that can act as a stop block for repeated cuts at the same length.

Does anyone know where I can get the 1 7/16" wide cap and minitrack? Any suggestions for the mechanism for the extending stop?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Gil
