draw assistance plz

Hello I started making me a newrouter table and I would like to make some draws with out any euro/blum glides
so the question is how much space do i leave between my draw and the peace of wood glide?1/8 or 1/16 im not sure but i dont want it to be really hard to pull out?

any help would be great

Roddy -

Recommend make the drawer carcass width ¼" less than the drawer opening. That will leave sufficient play for a little dust, seasonal expansion, etc.

I generally make the drawer glides from scrap pieces of maple - ½" x ½". Route a slot in the center of the height of the drawer side a little bit over ½" wide. Wax then up with paraffin and you are all set.
