Eagle has the Aggazani bandsaws...I bought one from Jesse Baragan the owner several years ago....I think they are the best... Maloof has 3 ...Duginske just bought his second and Krenov has one also... http://www.eagle-tools.com/Pages/agazzani.html

Mike,

Do you mean the tool distributor Eagle Tools in Los Angeles?

Mark Singer beat me to it. I bought my General 650 from them and they are very reputable.

Mark is right. They are very nice saws and I like dealing with Jesse.

I think that all of the Italian saws are good and it would be hard to make a joice. If you are a turner you might like the one hand table tilt.

L.A. still has a manufacturing base and Jesse has a place that will sharpen
a variable pitch Lenox trimaster.

I bought the big machines for my shop from Eagle. This is not the same company as the mail order outfit, I believe. Jesse used to be the American importer of Inca machinery from Switzerland.

He's known and respected for his knowledge and integrity.

and he doesn't have a $150 bandsaw, a bandsaw blade maybe. It's got to be someone else.
