I am making the top for a slant front desk,it will be 16 1/2, 36 1/2 total length and 7/8 inch thick. The ends will be about 2 3/4 wide. I plan on haveing 3 tabs on each end, what lenght and with and thickness should they be ? Should the center be left any wider to allow for shrinkage ? And anything else you can tell me will be appreciated. THANK YOU. BARRY BRUNER
